I'm just not able to move around during that time. I'm not hurt, though.

I guess this means I'm missing Valentine's Day? I don't mind much, though. That holiday can be more trouble than it's worth.

On a somewhat related note, what are some things you can do when you're bored that don't involve your Pokemon?

You can write mental letters to people you haven't seen in a while, pretend you're finally catching up. It helped me during the boring periods back home.

Whether or not they'd want a letter doesn't matter all that much. The important part is ordering your thoughts, understanding what parts of your life you'd want to share with others.

Sometimes it's on paper, sometimes it's just in my head. If I get involved enough, I can even ignore the background music.

Ah. I could try, but it's been a long time since I played the piano or violin. It must be hard to keep the background music out of what you're writing.

It's definitely a challenge. Sometimes you can block it out if you have a different kind of background noise, or if you're really into what you're composing.
