[The camerawork in this video is... actually fairly professional, because it's being held in place by a Psychic Pokemon who will levitate whatever he pleases. It's outside the department store in Goldenrod, and Micchy is wearing a coat that... doesn't quite go with his shoes but you know what, he's trying.]

[But the focus is less on the coat and more on the Mareep that Micchy is... doing his best to wrestle into a sweater. It's not exactly cut for something with four legs but he's doing his damndest to get it into the thing.]

Don't give me that, your wool is going to get wet and then you'll be really unhappy and the static will get everywhere.

[A laugh of Kaa kaadabraaa! can be heard behind the camera, and Micchy looks up to see Yoshiro filming them, his eyes wide.]

H-hey! Turn that off now!

[He reaches for the Pokegear and snatches it out of the Psychic-type's clutches, turning the video off.]

Would you like my Kadabra to talk to her? I can...try to get her to, anyway.

Sure, since mine is... entirely unhelpful.

[Lookin' at you, Yoshiro.]

[samsa]

[Kaneki looks offscreen, shooting his Kadabra- who happens to be seated not far away in the same room- a questioning glance. Surely she heard all of that...]

Please? Just this once?

[There's a long pause before the sound of shuffling can be heard before Carrie suddenly sits down next to Kaneki on the edge of the bed, staring deadpan at the Gear.]

...okay, what do you want?

[grapeeater]

[He turns the video to the Mareep, who bleats at the Kadabra.]

I'm cold and this thing is itchy and he keeps calling me a girl!

[samsa]

[...well, there's your problem. One of them. Carrie huffs, giving Kaneki a sidelong glance as she passes over the information telepathically.]

...Ah, Micchy-san...your Mareep is a male. And I don't think he likes the sweater too much...he's already too waterlogged for it to do much good.

[grapeeater]

... Oh. Oops.

[He tries to gently tug the sweater off. Um. Hm.]

Sorry about that?

[samsa]

I think he might appreciate it a little more when he's...not so wet.

[grapeeater]

Yeah. ... He won't really go inside, though...

[samsa]

[Kaneki looks to Carrie again, who just gives the most exaggerated eyeroll of the century.]

What's wrong now, huh?

[grapeeater]

I'm scared! Inside is scary!

[samsa]

You'd rather stay outside and get soaked?

[grapeeater]

No! But inside is scary!

[samsa]

...what are you scared of?

[grapeeater]

People are scary!

[samsa]

That trainer is a person, and he isn't hurting you. You could easily fry him if you had half a mind.

[He huffs a little and stamps his feet, though it's more nervous energy than anything else.]

[samsa]

So what DO you want to do?

[grapeeater]

I don't know! Everything's scary!

[samsa]

[...Carrie looks over at Kaneki and apparently tells him something, because he jumps a little and retorts.]

I-I'm not saying that!

[grapeeater]

[Micchy blinks in surprise, looking over to the screen.]

What is it?

[samsa]

...nothing. She's being rude.

[She wanted him to say your Mareep is just plain stupid, but of course he's not...going to...]

Your Mareep is frightened right now, so it might be better to just...let him calm down a little before you try to do anything else.

[grapeeater]

Ah. I don't... know what to do to calm him down...

[He puts his hand on the Mareep's head, trying to calm him. Is this going to work?]

[... The Mareep does not seem to be impressed.]

[samsa]

Um...maybe try giving him some space? He might just be feeling overwhelmed.

[grapeeater]

... Sure.

[He takes a few steps back, watching the Pokemon, who seems to... relax slightly, at least.]

[samsa]

There. That's better, isn't it?

[He's addressing the Mareep now...and Carrie just lets out a long suffering sigh, moving to walk off screen back to whatever she was doing previously.]
