[This is a lot to take in. Rise has never heard a story like this. To think that a world like this could exist was beyond her. Her own world would look peaceful besides his, except for the whole actual god trying to kill everyone. They all technically died during that fight to keep her Senpai safe.
Hearing him siding with someone who was clearly a bad guy in her mind was not what she expected. He seemed like he had a much better head on his shoulder than that. Rise crosses her arms on the table, leaning forward to relax. It wasn't any use. There was just so much tension in the air.]

[She doesn't know what to really say. He caused death, at his own hand and not. To be so delusional, thinking a girl could love him just because of those things. That if he worked hard, he'd be everyone's here and be loved by all. Selfish to boot. It might sound cruel, but maybe it was better for Mai to have died. She wouldn't have to see Micchy as he was now.
Rise knew she wouldn't want to if she was in that girls shoes.

[Rise waits for him to leave before she starts crying. This was going to be really rough. Now she feels like she can't come back to Goldenrod without the risk of seeing him again. All she can think of is running away, and she will. Run, fly, just get away.

I was, yes, but it could have been decidedly worse; if anything, I've gotten off easy.

... Inves are... from the Helheim Forest, controlled by Overlords. Most of them were their equivalents of human before the forest changed them. They eat the fruit that grows there. And if someone from my world should wander in there and not have a specific item, the fruit is difficult to resist.
That's what happened to Yuuya, the leader of my old dance team. And he turned into an Inves that looked a lot like this. Kouta didn't even know he killed him for a long time...

[At first he doesn't know what to say. He wants to yell at Wrath for worrying him, he wants to scold him for not checking in with headquarters... but he can't help but feel relief flood him as he crouches down and pulls Wrath into a tight hug, trying not to cry.]

[Wrath stands awkwardly, leaning a little into the hug but mostly just standing. It's always a toss-up as to whether or not he'll smile and reciprocate like a normal kid or just... go catatonic.]

[He leads Wrath in a little further so he can close the door behind him. Hotaru the Vulpix hops off of Micchy's bed and heads over to the younger boy, nuzzling against him.]

[Giggling quietly, Wrath sits right down on the floor and tugs the Vulpix right into hi lap. He's gotten much better at petting animals in the year that he's been here. Less pulling or stroking the wrong way.]
