Interesting. This network is more advanced than I would have thought from a place like this. Everything seems so... simple. There's definitely a lot more natural places around than I'm used to, if this map is right.

I suppose I'm a new 'trainer'. These creatures do remind me of something, though... has anyone here ever been to Zawame City? I'm guessing no, but I thought I might as well ask.

I guess I should get started on learning things about these creatures if I'm going to be here for a while...

[... Though maybe not so quickly. Anyone in the Goldenrod Base might spot the new recruit, looking vaguely uneasy at what he's read of his 'partner' Pokemon's species. Either that, or someone might spot him in a quiet corner, clearly trying to ignore something but... nothing that's visible.]

[ this. was awesome.

if sitting on a houndour's back was pretty cool, then boy was a houndoom even better. the sight is just that— a very small human being catching a ride on a houndoom; skull is looking pretty proud about his "throne" despite wearing a helmet to cover most of what he has to show in terms of facial expression— but body language is enough. the houndoom, on the other hand, just looks a tad irked every time skull stands on his back and happens to hold onto his horns— like some kind of bike or— ]

Heh—!

[ he's still got it! well, kind of. standing on the back of a walking animal isn't that huge of a stunt, but maybe if he's running . . . ]

—Hey, Lucifer! Faster!

[ oh, so he wants to go faster. he can arrange that, so the houndoom, after briefly rolling its eyes and quickly thinking it through, dashes off down the hall without warning. it's too quick of a run, and perhaps a bit too fast compared to what skull was waiting for. he yelps, nearly falling off, grabbing the houndoom's tail and giving a shriek. ]

S-slow down! Slow down!

[ nope. except, his little trainer can get a lot of attention yelling around like that— unless he could shake him off, of course. micchy's the first one lucifer sees, so he's the one he's going to sling skull towards with a sudden stop and whipped turn. ]

Wha—!!!!

[ FLYING HELMET INCOMING ]

[He's got good reflexes, even without being transformed, so when he spots the flying... thing he darts out of the way. His Absol watches, amused, and Micchy just blinks in confusion.]

What... is that?

[hotty]

[ and that thing is— going straight for the wall! luckily, he still had his helmet on when the inevitable impact with the wall happens, but that doesn't mean he's got a free pass on the pain train. in fact— that crash causes a lot of SHAKING and discomfort in the head area, especially when he came spinning. ugh. ]

—Ow! Ugh . . .

[ he's sprawled on the ground for a good few moments, before holding both sides of his head to calm the dizziness. it was a bad idea to try and get up, though. he didn't have much balance-! and stumbling right into the absol— albeit holding onto its leg for balance. ]

Phew— Thanks a lot, you—

[ his voice is irked and dripping with sarcasm, until he looks up and— whoa whoa whoa no that's not lucifer. skull stumbles backwards again, quickly, never having seen an absol before, looking left and right for his houndoom. nowhere . . . ! ]

I-I can say the same thing!!

[Rin just growls at the small... child... thing.]

Well I don't know either, other than what this... device has to say.

[ oh, then it's— his. ok. that makes him feel a little better than having some wild dog thing running around . . .

but even then!!! he sees almost two of everything, still. bluh, walls. worst enemy. but, he tries to scamper to his feet, and quite loudly, discarding the device talk: ]

—I'm looking for a dog!! So— You! Tell me which way he went!!

The direction you came from. Obviously. And you don't have to yell.

[ LOOK HOW TINY HE IS

he'll never be taken seriously if he talks like a squirt

but right where his houndoom went ]

You better not be just saying that!!

[ but— never the less, he starts going towards where he came. it's a lot harder to walk around these huge halls without a steed . . .

but he'll be back!!! ]

[He's not going to be taken seriously anyway...]

[ good . . .

just as he goes to leave— he turns around brashly. ugh, he hated to admit this, but— ]

W-what does it look like?! I'm—

[ not a baby ]

A midget!! Yeah!!

[ there's a pause, and soon enough he corrects himself, mostly for his pride's sake. ]

I'm still growing, though!!!

[ in his head, it was a good save. ]

... Sure. Whatever.

[The Absol still doesn't look very happy about the midget baby's presence and growls again.]
